Photobiocatalytic synthesis of chiral secondary fatty alcohols from renewable unsaturated fatty acids
Natural fatty acids are important starting materials in bio-based chemical production. Here, the authors developed a two-enzyme cascade to produce enantiomerically pure secondary fatty alcohols from natural unsaturated fatty acids in one pot.
