Sumario:In this study, special education teachers’ opinions on effectiveness of the teachers’ council meetings were determined. Research data were obtained through semi-structured interview form, which is one of the qualitative research methods. To develop the interview form, literature review was made and the Ministry of National Education Legislation was reviewed. After the review, interview questions pool was created. The opinions of three experts on the interview questions were taken and pilot application was done. The interview form was designed after expert opinions and pilot application. 24 teachers working in special education vocational training centers and working in the special education vocational application centers participated in the study. Interviews were conducted in the appropriate time for teachers and in the schools they work. The data obtained from the interviews were analyzed descriptively. The results show that teachers are informed about the meetings, the decisions are announced to teachers and reports required from teachers regarding the implementation of the decisions. At meetings, i
