| Sumario: | The objective was to identify best practices that contribute to the management of financial Secretary Municipal Education (SME) and public schools for student performance in Prova Brasil. Therefore, the methodology proposed by Salgado Junior (2013), where the choice and selection of schools is carried out by means of the technique of Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA), which classifies them as efficient and inefficient , ie it was used “high” and “low” performance of their students , within predetermined input-output variables. After the schools are consider inefficient chosen by trial and convenience. In the second stage, multiple case studies are conduct. Hopefully, with these practices contribute to the management and allocation of financial resources for the performance of students in municipal elementary schools. |
