The inhabitants of Chelyabinsk Region exhibited decreased contents of CD3+ and CD4+ lymphocytes, along with increased levels of CD95+ cells, as compared with data from other studies. Neutrophilic leukocytes display decreased phagocytic activities and higher ability to produce active oxygen species. Regional standards are proposed for the immunological parameters.G. A.
