These states which attached a great importance to the process of placing these new values and state understanding in the minds of the people and conveying them to the future generations used many different methods to fulfill their goals. Without doubt, the most important means used by the states to this end has become the national history courses. In the period starting with the establishment of Turkish Republic by the revolution carried out under the leadership of Atatürk, principles and History lesson takes an important role in the attempts to make a proper democracy in both state and the structure of the nation. The though of achieving this aim through education is a concept owned by many states as weel as the Republic of Turkey. With this understanding, in the structure of society and the state with the consciousness that will come with the teaching of this course, an attempt is undertaken in an effort to make the intended changes.
