This paper gives a new reading of this tombstone that corrects the previous one which has been published by Cost in his book entitled: “The Mosque and Mausoleums of Oman Sultanate”. According to this new reading, the author presents a detailed study from the calligraphic point of view and analyzes the content of the poetical text included in this tombstone. This paper also clarifies the archaeological, architectural, cultural and historical importance of the text’s content of this tombstone.
