The main issue of this article is the nationalist idea of nation and nation‑state in the sociological analysis of family and home. In this article the nation is conceived as representing family and the state is conceived as representing home. The point of view of the nationalist parties and sociology is similar. Threats to the family and the nation are: economic globalization, materialism and consumerism, poverty, social pathologies. That is why in t the article were used concepts, definitions and other achievements of sociology.
