Sumario: | The objective of this work is to deal with identification of types of strategies used by LPA
participant textile companies of Campina Grande-PB-Brazil, according to Von Krogh, Roos
and Slocum (1994) proposed model, where they suggest the existence of two basic strategies
types: surviving and advance. The surviving strategies assure present profit, emphasizing
the strong points and minimizing the weak ones of the company knowledgement and
resource base. On the other hand, the advance strategies build the future profit, reinforce
the strong points and try to eliminate the weak ones in the future company knowledgement
and resource base. This research is characterized as an exploratory study, using quantitative
and qualitatives methods, where the result is the identification of the surviving strategy for
the twenty and one companies and both strategies (surviving and advance) for the colored
cotton cooperative. |
