Sumario: | This article presents some results of a survey on training and employability in the labor market in tourism, in Brazil. Specifically, it is presented here the assessment of the professorial/researches’ team performance aiming to achieve a academic management tool. To do this, it was conducted a case study with human resources in a bachelor course of tourism in a Brazilian federal university. The study develops a proper methodology, a protocol for analyzing the teaching profile, based on combining the techniques of quantitative and qualitative research, supported by the existence of a national system of database and information for professors and researchers. This database nourishes and makes possible to apply the protocol. Our results show that collective productivity and their related profile, as well the degree of specialization and asymmetry in individual productivity of professors, in addition to possible inconsistencies between the expertise of professionals versus the performance areas, lectured and conducted orientations disciplines. In conclusion, two main contributions are advocated: (1) the preparation of a research protocol itself, which has been translated into a software, and (2) the derived indicators used for the survey of diagnosis, for monitoring and evaluating the performance academic management. |
