Sumario: | The article diagnosed explanatory failure of traditional approaches in the theory of international relations applied to the modern world politics. The author shows the contradictions between the facts of world politics and the methodology of realistic, liberal, neo-Marxist, and constructivist schools. The author proposes a new integrated explanatory model of foreign policy-making related to the development of axiological approach. The main problem, creating cognitive conflicts, is detected in discrepancy between the publicly articulated and latent values of subjects implementing foreign policy. In the article it is proved that the global manipulation of the mass consciousness exists to camouflage the original values of the designers of the world. The author proposes an illustrative range of modern cognitive manipulation in the description of political processes. |
