Sumario: | A retrospective analysis of clinical status of the recipients of biological prosthesis in mitral position was conducted: group 1 included patients with histologically confirmed calcification, group 11 included patients with normal morphology andfunctioning ofprosthesis. Follow-up depth was 94,5 %, average terms are 8,0 ± 4,4 years, follow-up scope is2792 patient-years. More severe clinical condition and prolonged cardiopulmonary bypass time while conducting primary surgical interventions are specific for the patients of the 1 group. The risk factors of prosthesis calcification are degree of cardiac failure decompensation, duration and traumatizing effect of surgical intervention. |
