For this, we carried out a survey research with 942 card users citizens in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, with a structured questionnaire for data collection instrument. For data analysis, we performed descriptive statistics and tests of mean difference, Student’s t-test and Anova, using SPSS ® 17.0 software. The results indicate the conscious use of credit by individuals as well as the proper management of the card, in addition to compliance with the commitments acquired with the same.
