The projects goal was to test the viability of a technology based on the use of prefabricated materials, which was developed in poor neighborhoods in Saltillo using a selfbuilding plan and a gendered perspective. The project was based on the idea that solidarity networks, which are woven around the building of a family home, are an intangible asset that is insufficiently served by social programs on housing, particularly, organized and assisted self-building programs.
