It also aims at identifying the major factors influencing the differing levels of technology adoption. Technology adoption promptness was defined by means of three constructors: work conclusion rate, work experimentation and intention to apply to teaching activities. Independent variables were based on the Innovation Diffusion Theory (Rogers, 2003) and others. Descriptive statistics, contingency tables and Pearson chi-square applied. The results suggested that the constructors work experimentation and intention to apply to teaching activities were more adequately explained by the independent variables.
