| Résumé: | The objective of this article is to explore the impacts of climate change on human development from Sen’s Capability perspective. Its main contribution lies in the analytical structure that it offers articulating well-being dimensions such as health, education, security, livelihoods, cultural values and social relation with natural resources, i.e., water, soil and biodiversity and ecosystem services. The analysis shows how climate change may increase human deprivation all over the world, with disproportionate effects on poor and developing countries. |
