| Résumé: | In this article, we aim to point out some important directions in revealing the structural and execution particularities of the Romanian urban popular romance, based on the comparative analysis of different interpreted versions of the romance “Pe lângă plopii fără soț..” (see English translation of the entire romance) performed by the artists Maria Bieșu, Mihai Munteanu, Gheorghe Sărac, Traian Uilecan, Maria Răducanu, Alexandru Arșinel. Therefore, we will make an analysis in terms of the
musical-poetical content, highlighting the defining elements both of the interpretation and content, as well as revealing the relationship between the vocal part and the orchestral accompaniment. |
