Sumario: | Research on the layout optimization of permanent basic farmland is essential for protecting arable land and ensuring food security. To achieve rapid spatial layout optimization of permanent basic farmland based on cultivated land quantity, quality, and ecology, this study selected Luoding City Guangdong Province as the research area, constructing an optimization index system for a permanent basic farmland layout from five levels: cultivated land quantity, cultivated land quality, spatial form, spatial planning, and ecological environment. At the same time, this study used geographic information system technology as an analysis tool and a comprehensive index evaluation method to analyze the current situation and optimize the permanent basic farmland spatial layout in Luoding City. Results show that from the perspective of spatial distribution, the distribution pattern of permanent basic farmland in Luoding City before and after the adjustment is essentially the same, primarily indicating that the middle is dense and the surrounding is sparse, the east and the west are dense, and the north is sparse. After optimizing the layout, the total area of the permanent basic farmland was found to have only increased by 5.2 hm2, and the rationality of its spatial layout was also greatly improved. The permanent basic farmland in Luoding City was optimized and improved in terms of the amount of arable land, arable land quality, spatial form, ecological environment, and spatial planning. Therefore, this study draws the following conclusions: Evaluating the rationality of arable land plot layout plays a critical role in delineating permanent basic farmland. In the future, the transfer of permanent basic farmland can be carried out according to the layout rationality of the current arable land and basic farmland to effectively promote permanent basic farmland delimitation in Luoding City. Moreover, the rapid optimization method of permanent basic farmland layout in Luoding City based on cultivated land quantity, quality, and ecology also provides a reference value for the permanent basic farmland delimitation of other major grain production areas across the country. |
