Experimental observation of classical analogy of topological entanglement entropy

The experimental observation of topological entanglement entropy (TEE) remains a challenge. Here, authors propose a scheme and experimentally construct classical analogs of minimum entropy states to simulate nontrivial topological orders by observing the TEE in Kitaev toric code.
