Sumario: | The discovery of the texts written in Oghuz Turkish dates back to the late 13th century. This study presents the history and the important language characteristics of the Oghuz Turks. The properties pertaining to the Oghuz Turkish in diwans written in Chagatai has been shown in charts.While the common Turkish of Central Asia persisted, Oghuz Turkish grew stronger. One can remark the traces of Oghuz Turkish since Old Turkish. The most important branch of the Turkish of y- is the southwest one (Oghuz Turkish). The disappearance of -g and the use of adverb -(y)UbAn are among the characteristics of the Oghuz Turkish. |
