Sumario:"Kunst und Technik bei Nikolaus von Kues" is the German translation of a conference that could not take place in Buenos Aires in March 2020 due to the pandemic. However, we have decided to present some of the contributions in print. We publish these contributions in this form due to the many research interests in which the conference was originally embedded. Their selection has been determined by the members of an international network within the wider framework of the "International Board of Cusanus Research" of the Klaus Reinhardt Institute. The board is composed of representatives from the Argentine "Circulo de estudios Cusanos," the Japanese as well as the Italian Cusanus Societies, the Dutch Cusanus Study Center, and the Kues Academy for European Geistesgeschichte, who are working together to profile Cusanian thought with a view to art and its relationship to science, technology, society, and metaphysics. Included in this working context are also the American Cusanus Society with its chairman, Il Kim, as well as other international Cusanus researchers. Finally, it should not go unmentioned that the conference was to be connected to a regular tradition of international Cusanus symposia in Buenos Aires that have taken place since the beginning of the millennium and whose auspicious beginnings are inseparable from the person of Klaus Reinhardt.
