| Sumario: | The article analyzes the influence of internal factors on the activities of diversified companies in conditions of economic instability. The author examines in details the components of strategic process and strategic drift as a result of business diversification. Based on the results of risk analysis several proposals were made according the improvement of corporate governance and establishment of a corporate center whose main task is to monitor and implement strategic directions for the consolidated management of a diversified company. In addition, the author examined in detail the need for a cohesive and competent management team for the further effective maintenance and development of the company. Also special attention was paid to the issues of a well-developed corporate culture as one of the fundamental factors of the success of the diversified company. |
