When 'University Liberties' were eliminated in 1910-1911 a group of prominent scientists of Moscow University abandoned their offices and continued lecturing and researching in the first economics institution in Russia. In this way we can observe a persistent link between the two educational institutions. Academics and graduates of Moscow University working in the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics have made a great contribution to training professionals for economy of the country, to the development of Russian science.Marina I.
