Sumario: | In the face of change-oriented thoughts offered by enlightenment, foundations of the conservative tradition had been laid by Edmund Burke while bringing new developments together with a different understanding of the period of enlightenment. Conservative thought that in the face of the idea of enlightenment and defends its own protective values, this conservative approach has created as continuation of traditions, organic society and ongoing values. The conservative tradition has been expressed as a bilateral distinction that like the anglo-saxon and Continent of European conservatism, the Conservative tradition emerged as Anglo-Saxon conservatism and have been presence with changes in USA history. This changes have gained a new dimension and have felt again with the 58th term USA President Donald Trump. In this study, the enlightenment period and the philosopical foundations of conservative opinion, conservative tradition in USA, the period of before and after cold war USA politics has been evaluated in the content of neo-conservative tradition. Afterwards of study, the differences between previous and new period applications which started with Trump have been revealed. The aim of this study is to show relationship between the conservative tradition and Trump’s practices and analyze the changes of conservative applications in the historical process. |
