Sumario: | Crimea is one of the places where the Turkish have densely inhabited throughout the history. The arguments that accept the Cimmerians as the Turks are taken into account, it is possible to say that the existence of the Turks dates back to VII. B.C. Following the Cimmerians, the region fell under the dominance of the Scythes, European Khuns, Göktürks, Khazars, Kiptchaks, Altınordu and Crimean Khanates and it became one of the ancient homelands of the Turks. When it was annexed by Russia in 1783, the Turks were compelled to emigrate and the demography of the region was changed through the settlement of the different ethnic groups. During the 1944 exile the Turkish population was completely cleansed from the region. Despite all the these thigs done, nothing has changed the truth that Crimea is one of the ancient Turkish homelands. |
