Chirality of nanophotonic waveguide with embedded quantum emitter for unidirectional spin transfer
Scalable quantum technologies require efficient conversion between qubits stored in solid-state systems and flying photonic qubits. Here, the authors demonstrate that the electromagnetic field chirality of a photonic waveguide leads to unidirectional emission from an embedded quantum dot emitter.
