After Alexander the Great having subdued Syria, Egypt and Persian Empire, he next aim to invaded the Indian. The Indian campaign of Alexander the Great began in 326 BC. For Macedonians, India was a very different region. Thus for both Alexander the Great and he’s army, was one of the wars initiated. According to Arrian, Alexander the Great was lost more 1000 men. Since for the first time the Macedonians met elephants in war on the edge of Hydaspes river. The part of India which Alexander invaded that is called the Punjap. At the time it was ruled by a king called Porus. He was overlord of the Punjap, and under him were many other princes. Alexander the Great managed successfully challenging battle againist India. After victory, Alexander the Great made an alliance with Porus and appointed him as satrap of his own kingdom. Indeed, he founded cities in the region. One of the city called Boukephala in honor of his favorite horse Bucephalus, which died in there. Other cities he called Alexandreia in honor of his own name. The essential aim of Alexander the Great, engrain in Greek culture in this region. The aim of the study is to determine the impacts of invasion of India on the grown empire of Alexander the Great. In this study, after it was informed about preparition invasion of India and army of Alexander the Great, it was also mentioned about conquest of the Khyber Pass and battle of the Hydaspes.
