The classic manifestation of a violation of the vaginal microbiota is a clinical non-inflammatory syndrome bacterial vaginosis (BV), characterized by certain changes in the composition of the vaginal microbiota and excessive reproduction of microorganisms, which are normally present in small quantities. To date, literature data emphasize that the issues of the etiology, pathogenesis of BV, the reasons for the recurrence of the process are not fully understood, the reasons for the lack of long-term effectiveness of BV therapy are unknown.
