Sumario:Bolsa Familia Program (PBF in Portuguese) is a public policy of income transfer that reduced the condition of poverty for some kind of social group. This program gathers unidimensional measure, represented by the income used for the insertion of the beneficiaries for the program, with a multidimensional analysis of poverty, through to Family Development Index (IDF in Portuguese). The objective of this study is to evaluate the possibility of identifying changes in socio-economic variables of the cities in the state, correlating the data with the public involvement in the GMP. It is considered that the expansion of the capabilities of individuals occurs with increased opportunities available. The PBF fulfills its role as inequalities reducer is the income offer or provide opportunities for access to two key public policies to human development, health and education. Therefore, we used available data in the program management, the descriptive statistics and correlation matrix was presented. Among the selected variables can be observed that the Municipal Human Development Index (IDHM in Portuguese), infant mortality rates and decrease dropout are some of those that signal improvement. Conditionalities are an attempt to change in adult behavior across the care of children and adolescents. While income has been instrumental in determining considered poor and extremely poor in Brazil, the multiple dimensions analyzed in the IDF give a more comprehensive view of the deficiencies in the cities in the state. Taking income as one-dimensional analysis, the municipalities with distribution concentrated in the mountainous region of the state. When the observation is carried out by the IDF dimensions shortages spread across all regions of the state, which confirms the multidimensionality as the best way of poverty analysis.
