| Sumario: | Batman and its surroundings have a great potential for tourism with its natural beauties and civilizations that it has hosted as long as the historical process. SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats), which is a part of the strategic management process, has used as an important tool in the evaluation of tourism businesses, cities, regions, countries as well as in the evaluation of the businesses. In the study, Batman tourism has been examined in terms of tourism potential as both supply and demand. After the examining, a SWOT analysis concerning Batman tourism has been constructed on this examining. The aim of the study is to evaluate the Batman tourism based on supply and demand and to reveal its development. Thus, it is aimed to contribute Batman tourism. Secondary data sources were used in the study. As a result of the study, Batman has natural and cultural supply sources but limited artificial (man-made) touristic resources. In addition, it is also true that there are problems with the transformation of Batman's tourism potential into a touristic product. |
