Sumario: | It is obvious that Hodja Nasreddin jokes play an important role in Turkish oral narrative tradition. Rather than his historical personality, Nasreddin Hodja is a joke character who is famous for his jokes in the world. The main reason for achieving such a success in the line extending from local to universal is that it reflects people in all aspects. The jokes of Hodja Nasreddin do not only include Turkish people but all human beings’ common issues and all the issues are solved in an atmosphere of certain tolerance. Nasreddin Hodja jokes have been studied by numerous researchers from past to today. Many researchers have revealed different perspectives on Nasreddin Hodja and jokes related to him. The jokes of Hodja Nasreddin have been updated within verbal, written and digital cultural environments and survived until today. Within this context, it is possible to state that animations are significant devices for new generations, especially to children, regarding the transfer of the jokes of Hodja Nasreddin. However, there are some problems faced in the process of the adaptation of the jokes based on both perception levels of children who are the primary audience of animations and structure of the texts. That is why the jokes of Hodja Nasreddin are not commonly used within the animations. In thıs paper, basic problems in the area and possible solutions to these problems are discussed with the aim of enabling a more common use of the jokes of Hodja Nasreddin in animations. |
