The article defines the idea of the innovation lift, which could become a secure research and methodological tool providing coordination between science and business and motivate Russian enterprises to carry out applied research. The author puts forward mechanisms of integrating Russian NIS in the international innovation environment through attracting leading overseas scientists, participation in advanced international innovation programs, conducting highly technological business through Russian finance institutions and institutes of development.Alexander A.
