These studies that have started with foreign lecturers have later been carried out by native lecturers. Many studies have been carried out in this sixty years time but there are stil some issues on which only a few studies have been done. One of these issues is the static words. In fact there is little research on static words. Static words have gained importance lately and its limits have not been certainly defined yet. Static words enlighten the culture of the folks who speak the same language and help us to understand the perspective, beliefs, life style, communication, belief structure, traditions and ideology of a society. Static words that have been used for certain concepts can be also used for anew sutiation or event. Briefly, it is an inseperable part of a language. We will show in this paper the relationship between static words and religion. Words that reflect beliefs are a widely used part of a daily life. We try to evaluate all of our actions according to our religion. We see the existence of Allah verbally with us in events such as eating meal, drinking water, examination, journey, marriage and many more.”If Allah wishes’’ we eat; if we can’t find anything to eat we say “Allah is the greatest’’; we ask fort he girl’s hand for our son by saying “with the command of Allah’’ and we get married by “the word of Messenger”; we have children “for Allah’’; we say to our children you can’t kick your mother “Allah turns your hand into a stone’’. Briefly, we search fort he pleasure of Allah in our every action and hope for Allah’s help. Although we don’t feel it, we see that there are many static words related to our religion.
