| Sumario: | In Guinea Bissau, a country whose poetry production is one of the smallest among the PALOPs, the blood traces left by the Pidjiguiti massacre, the war for independence, the "Resetting Movement" and the 1998-1999 armed conflict metaphorically tarnish poetry. In this essay, we intend to analyze the poetry of Tony Tcheka,considering it part of the trauma literature. Believing that "not counting perpetuates the tyranny of what has passed" (SELLIGMANN-SILVA, 2000, p. 9), we consider that Tcheka's poetic work reflects on and reflects the history of his country, as well as acting as a possible criticism of successive governments , who used violence for their maintenance. |
