The objective of the present study is to determine whether the views of social studies teachers on distance education differed based on certain variables (Gender, Professional Seniority, Knowledge about Distance Education, Receiving Distance Learning Services, Computer, Tablet and Smartphone Use Frequency). The study group included 60 social studies teachers working in various middle schools in Elazığ province center. “The Distance Education Scale,” developed by S. Yıldırım, G. Yıldırım, Çelik, and Karaman (2014) was used as the data collection tool in the present study which was designed with the survey model. Findings obtained within the scope of the present study were analyzed in SPSS 21.00 software.
