The mean age of the patients at the time of referral was 27.2 ± 3.9 years. Panuveitis was the most common presentation. About 28% of all involved eyes had a final visual acuity < 20/200, by the last follow-up visit. Conclusion: Behçet’s disease is an important cause of uveitis in Egypt, and despite the fact that the prognosis of Behçet’s uveitis has globally improved in recent years, the visual outcome in Egypt is still not favorable especially in case of delayed referral to tertiary centers. Keywords: Egypt, uveitis, Behçet’s disease, Alexandria, hypopyonAbd El Latif EAbdel Kader Fouly Galal MTawfik MAElmoddather MNooreldin AShamselden Yousef HDove Medical Pressarticleegyptuveitisbehçet's diseasealexandriahypopyon.OphthalmologyRE1-994ENClinical Ophthalmology, Vol Volume 14, Pp 4005-4014 (2020)
