In the legislature, the so-called ruralist bureau establishes in 2016 a Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry to investigate the processes of territorial titration of these groups. The ﬁnal report voted in 2017, questions the rights of quilombolas and proposes the indictment of leaders of social movements. In this article, we focus on the part of the ﬁnal report of the Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry that is dedicated to the quilombola issue.
