| Sumario: | İmage is a term which is used in many fields ranging from philosophy to architecture and from literature to painting and it is also a term whose borders can’t be defined easily. It makes itself felt in literature, especially in poetry. While each poet benefits from image more or less, some poets use it more intensively. Sezai Karakoç’s poetry is very rich in imagery. In this period, in which what the term of image was and what it included couldn’t fully be understood, the main aim was understanding the image and revealing some belief images by analyzing some poems of our poet which has image richness. Examining the poet’s image beliefs comprehensively will be helpful in order to understand the spiritual world of Karakoç. |
