Especially after Turks’ adoption of Islam, Turkish dynasties like Ghaznavids ruled over Iran for a long period. As a natural result of this sovereignty process, in Iran today, hundreds of manuscripts written in Turkish are available in most libraries. One of the significant libraries in Iran where Turkish manuscripts are plentiful is the Tabriz National Library. Today, there are Turkish manuscripts in the Tabriz National Library both from Ottoman geo-cultural territory which were brought to Iran in that era. These manuscripts, when they are thought in view of Turkish language, have considerable significance as they were written in Ottoman, Azeri and Cagatay.
