| Sumario: | This study aims to introduce a denominal and conceptual alternative to the cities grouping, qualified as medium. The identification of other new analysis criterions which grounds in the conceptual construct, what contributes to a forward-looking of the discussion about these cities of strong representations and expressions, remarkably regional. Methodologically, we opted for literature review and bibliographical analysis on the subject, promoting a dialogue between authors, of different theoretical lines, in the field of geography, economics and regional urban planning. As from this dialogue, it results a new theoretical and conceptual look along the urban regional literature: the organization of a synthetical profile, starting from different thinkers, containing elements sampling which were and may be considered in these cities reflection. As of this sampling is suggested a new denominal and conceptual proposition: "Command Regional Cities". |
