Sumario:Critical thinking is an issue that has been considered and researched for thousands of years. Critical thinking researches remain popular both in other countries of the world and in our country. However, when the literature is examined, there is no study investigating the researches on critical thinking. The purpose of the study is to evaluate the master’s and doctoral theses written on Critical Thinking in Turkey, according to various criteria. Graduate theses were accessed from the website of the Council of Higher Education by writing “Critical Thinking” in the thesis scanning section. In the study, 332 theses written between 1999 and 2020 and that have permission to publish, were analyzed by content analysis method. The data were analyzed with SPSS using frequency and percentage techniques. According to the results; the studies, about three-quarters of which are master's theses, are mostly carried out by female researchers, theses examined are mostly counseled by male lecturers, lecturers with the title of doctorate professor do more thesis consultancies than others and more researches on critical thinking has been studied in Gazi, Çukurova, Hacettepe and Atatürk universities, and in this way, in the Central Anatolia region. In addition, approximately one-fifth of theses were made in 2019, it is preferred that thesis juries are 3 people, theses have pages between 101-150 and titles consisting of words between 11-15, the number of sub-problems is mostly between 0-5 and they are mostly conducted with the scanning model.
