Neuropsychiatr Dis Treat.  2020;16:313– 323. At the request of the authors, the Editor-in-Chief and Publisher of Neuropsychiatric Disease and Treatment wish to retract the published article. Following publication of the article we were notified by Professor Ping Zhuang, who was listed as the corresponding author, that he was not an author and had no knowledge \of the publication. Prof. Zhuang raised the matter with the Department of Education at Xuanwu Hospital, Capital Medical University and an investigation was carried out, headed by the Department Chair. The investigation found the first author, Xue-Min Zhao, had created a fake submission account and email address for Prof. Zhuang and submitted the article without the consent or knowledge of her advisor. The investigation advised the article should be retracted and editor has agreed with this recommendation. The authors have supported this decision and wish to apologise for this transgression.    Our decision-making was informed by our policy on publishing ethics and integrity and the COPE guidelines on retraction.
