Sumario:The fourth centenary of the death of Doménikos Theotokópoulos in 2014 was celebrated with the opening of several temporary exhibitions on his life and work, accompanied by new research aimed at updating what we knew about the Cretan painter. This article reviews what, in my opinion, have been the most relevant recent contributions in the field of temporary exhibitions.
