Sumario:Turkomans were comeing Anatolia to explore the land, until Malazgirt battle in 1071. After the war, Turkomans settlet down Anatolia parmanently. İn the begining, approximately 200.000 Turkomans arrived in Denizli and vicinity. The history of Denizli Region second half of ends begans XI.th. Century and begining of XV.th. Century. The Region has constantly changed hands several times between Byzantium and Selcuk states. The middle of XIILth. Century, The Region was Conquered permanently by Turks.However, The land was changed hands many times among Selcuks Mongols and Turkish principalities Denizli, at the second quarter of XIII.th. Century, had been given to Sahib Ata’s son’s as “ ikta “. The Region was attacked many times by Turkish principalitiesln 1291, Geyhatu Khan, the Mongol emperor, was rushed and handed the Region. lbn Batuta, famous traveler, visited Denizli in 1332 According to his writings the city had 7 mosque, the bazaars, vineyards and orchards and springs. Magnificent fabrics embroided with gold or silver thread were made by using high quality cotton grow in the area.» Mongols tried to control pressure and gave importance region. Denizli was a beautiful city populated by Turkomans.
