Homo- and heterodehydrocoupling of phosphines mediated by alkali metal catalysts

Catalytic transformations involving main group compounds is much less developed than carbon chemistry. Here, the authors report the use of catalytic or stoichiometric tBuOK in presence of a hydrogen acceptor for efficient P–P and P–heteroatom coupling reactions.
