| Sumario: | The bicentenary of Paraguay’independence was celebrated in Asunción with a 3-D historical retrospective called “mapping” projected on the Cabildo building. In this audiovisual trip through history, the traditional heroes did not occupied the ideological and paramount place they got in the past times. In a country where History has a meager place at the University, these changes were surprising and seemed a start towards a new regime of historicity, as F. Hartog put it. The author agrees in part with that proposition but contests that the official history “heroe” has disappeared. |
