Sumario: | Although onomatopoeic (reflective) words are seen in all languages, they are used and seen in Turkish and Arabic more. Onomatopoeia is the idea that human language and vocabulary originated as a form of imitation. It is said that language came from imitations of natural sounds,animal sounds,running water,broken branches,leaves,the wind etc.....These kinds of words have been taken into consideration because of the features in their structures. The most important reason is that they are echoic words and they sound good. Onomatopoeia is a stylistic choice to representetives sound within word and can be used as an attention-getting device in our speech. Arabic language includes lots of onomatopoeic words and there have been important studyings and researches in this area. To create a database of onomatopoeic words will greatly benefit from Mudjem al-Aswat on 261 word space contains 2189 units under different titles. Also there is an another mudjam has 265 titles and 1372 onomatopoeic words. It is seen that Arabic onomatopoeic words spread over a large area and under the same concept spaces there are many onomatopoeic words used for the different forms. In this study after examining these dictionares it will be evaluated wheather meaning or using these words in Arabic language and if these words have meaning in Turkish at that time. So it will be seen that Arabic is a competent and comprehensive language in terms of creating new concepts. |
