It highlights the relations between one cooperative value and young people, although it can be considered that this is the value which has a direct link with young people: democracy. The different identity of the cooperative stands out from other forms of corporation because they own democracy in their DNA. Thus, democracy shines like a predicable value not only in managing or controlling the cooperative enterprise, but democracy also spreads to all aspects of members’ life in society and the community to which members belong.
