Confronting this analysis, it highlights the discussions that permeate social work in the context of social policies, especially in social assistance policy. It also seeks to situate and discuss research and evaluation as central and inherent elements of social policies abandoned by the managerial perspective and that need to be repositioned for the construction of the debate about the purposes of evaluation, from a socio-territorial perspective.
