Superconductivity in an extreme strange metal

Sumario:Understanding the strange metal behavior, characterized by linear-in-temperature resistivity, could shed light on the mechanism of unconventional superconductivity. Here, by using electrical resistivity measurements into the micro-Kelvin regime, the authors report evidence of unconventional superconductivity in the strange metal YbRh2Si2 and propose a possible pairing mechanism.
