Sumario: | The article uses a methodological and analytical approach to biographical interviews to present the journey of a law student who comes from a privileged background and has invested, alongside his studies, in an entrepreneurial project. At a time when meritocratic ideology is widely promoted throughout academia and in the world of work, the appropriation of the socially constructed figure of an "entrepreneur" appears to be one way for this young man to emphasize his ability to succeed all by himself by minimising the social support systems on which his career path has relied. The article focuses in particular on the young heir’s relationship to time; the way he constructs his studies; and, finally, his access to the world of work, viewed here as a "race against the clock". |
